Department of D.Pharm

Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) is an under graduate diploma programme in the medicinal field of Pharmacy which enables a candidate to know the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. This is a two year academic course with additional three months practical training program leading to diploma in pharmacy which makes the students eligible as registered pharmacist. The prime objective of pharmacy profession is to render service to humanity, reward or financial gain is a subordinate consideration. After the completion of D.Pharm course, the candidates become a registered pharmacist and have a huge career scope both in government as well as private organizations.

Duration

1. The duration of course shell be for two academic years. Each academic year shall be spread over a period of not less than one hundred and eighty working days.
2. In addition there shall be a five hundred hours of practical traning spread over a period of not less than three months.
